About Our Tutors
Our tutors are experienced readers, writers, and speakers of Amharic, trained through formal academic study in Amharic Language Studies as well as years of real-world immersion. Having lived and studied within Ethiopian communities—both in Ethiopia and abroad—they bring a deep understanding of the language’s structure, beauty, and cultural richness.
Beyond tutoring, our team actively engages in translation and interpretation of hagiographic, liturgical, and manuscript material, applying advanced linguistic knowledge to real Amharic and Ge’ez texts. This hands-on experience enriches our teaching, ensuring that each learner benefits from authentic, informed, and meaningful instruction.
